Hot cocoa!

I know this blog is supposed to be about food, but I was so damn proud of myself for making this..... I decided to show you! You will need: cocoa powder, milk, a mug, a teaspoon, and sugar (optional). Firstly you will need to put 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder into a mug. Next, heat up some milk for about 4 minutes in the microwave. Pour the milk into the mug, add sugar and stir to create a swirl effect.

Chocolate sponge!

This is the recipe for basic Victoria sponge. Even though I have used this recipe many times, it's a really good one for people who only have the basic ingredients. For this recipe you will need cocoa powder too.
The filling is a (shop bought) chocolate fudge and seen as its fruit picking season, we made some raspberry jam to go with it! Finally as a a finishing touch, we dusted some icing sugar over it. Tip: If you want your cake to rise more, then put in a teaspoon of baking powder. But be careful not to use too much or the cake might collapse. This cake is super tasty and I hope you will agree once you make it! :)

Fluffy rainbows!

As all of you know here at Treat Mania, I try to make a variety of cakes, cookies, and treats! But these cupcakes are something completely different to anything I have EVER done before...
They have fluffy rainbows on them! As you may be wondering the 'fluff' also known as marshmallow fluff, you can get in any good sweet or cake shops. And the rainbows are multi-coloured sugary strips which you can buy from; Tesco, Cks, Asda, and pretty much any supermarkets!
Tip: Leave the cakes to fully cool before "fluffing" them, then leave the fluff to set before you put your rainbows on!
I hope that was a change to plain, old, boring cupcakes. I really enjoyed making them and I hope you will too! Don't forget to leave your thoughts in the comments section below. 👇👇👇

Chocolate cupcakes!

I know I have only recently done this recipe but these cakes have a swirled chocolate icing and red white and blue sprinkles, so I thought it might be a bit different!
Feel free to just experiment with the icing as this is what I did! Some cakes were classed as 'testers' as they didn't turn out so well... But in the end we did manage to get about four cakes looking FAB!
Even though this recipe says to add 1 tablespoon of cocoa, I added about four so the cakes were more rich and chocolately! So have fun with this!

Olympic birthday cake!

This is a Victoria sponge cake mix with coloured buttercream icing spread over and around the cake!
We used Lego mini figures (bought from Tesco!) And royal icing to make the tennis balls. For the net we used cake pop sticks and garden netting!
Tip: Thread the sticks through the netting to save using glue or tape.
And there you have it, your very own Olympic/Wimbeldon tennis cake! :)

Choc - Tastic!

These muffins may look like ordinary muffins but inside they hold a DEEP, DARK SECRET...

CHOCOLATE SPREAD! (Be careful with this as you have to place chocolate spread exactly in centre or it will burn).

COOKIES!

Cookies

I kind of cheated with this, using a B And M package of ready made mixture.

I made 2 types of cookies. One choc chip, and one double choc.

It came ready mixed and all I had to do was add chocolate chips then make it into cookie shapes.

That is it!!! That's not the best part...... THEY TASTE DELICIOUS! :-) xxx
